Meet Michael McCormick during his speaking engagement at EU 2013 Automotive to see how Mx-Suite Software can revolutionize how you perform testing for MIL, SIL, and HIL. Mike will be highlighting how major Automotive OEMs including Volvo use Mx-Suite to increase engineering efficiency during design of vehicle electronics.
Testing by numbers with Mx-Suite
Michael McCormack, Director, Product Development, Danlaw Inc, USA
Model-based development improves the efficiency and quality of embedded software in electronics. MBD testing tools multiply those efficiencies through early testing, higher test coverage and reusable test cases. Danlaw’s Mx-Suite embedded software test environment uses a data-driven, rather than a script-driven, approach that is efficient, portable, scalable and reusable across projects using MBD methodologies. In this presentation we look at the benefits of capturing test cases in numeric format, examine what test information should be captured in numeric format, contrast data-driven tests versus script-driven tests, and discuss which tests have the potential to be portable through the development cycle.
