Danlaw is pleased to announce that it has earned a Fast 50 position in the 2016 Crain’s Detroit Fast 50 growing companies for the third year in a row. According to Crain’s Detroit, “this year’s (Fast 50) entry reflects the big economic trends of the past few years: a resurgent automotive industry, bounce-backs in real estate and construction, and a raft of M&A.” Over the course of 2015-2016, Danlaw has maintained its focus on connected car technologies for insurance and fleet telematics. Increasing demand for vehicle connectivity in these markets continues to drive Danlaw’s development initiatives, as well as demand for its wireless connectivity solutions.
Danlaw’s role in Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) along with its unique experience with Digital Short Range Communications (DSRC), are helping to further expand the company’s depth and breadth in the connected car space. In addition to Danlaw’s connected car activities, automotive embedded software development and testing solutions, remain in high demand. Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers continue to leverage Danlaw’s embedded engineering capabilities increasingly across their new automotive program initiatives. With the recent acquisition of Rapita, Danlaw is able to continue to expand its embedded systems testing capabilities as well as expand its geographic presence in the UK and Europe.
Continued emphasis on vehicle connectivity, and embedded development and testing coupled with innovation in automotive interior and exterior electronics are expected to drive Danlaw’s growth through 2016 and beyond.
