Building upon our three decades of automotive and consumer electronics development experience, and leveraging the combined resources of our 300+ employees, Danlaw launched its fleet and insurance vertical initiative over six years ago. This effort was aimed at providing a telematics solution that directly connects a vehicle’s critical information (i.e. - vehicle speed, engine RPM, fuel level, etc.) along with its position information (GPS data), and acceleration measurements to a end user applications. The primary goal was to provide a completely self-contained and self-installed solution that allows fleet managers and insurance companies a means of collecting critical vehicle and position information for a variety of business critical needs.
Danlaw's DataLogger makes getting vehicle and position information to the cloud easier than ever before.
The net result of this effort is the Danlaw DataLogger telematics solution. Covering GSM and CDMA networks, the DataLogger product line includes: DL200/DL250, DL400/DL450, DL600/DL650 and DL700/750 that are configurable data loggers capable of capturing vehicle information, and optionally (accelerometer, and GPS position information) which is time stamped, and sent to a back office server via a GSM/GPRS or CDMA wireless data connection.
